  2. Happy New Year's eve everyone!  Hope you all had an amazing 2018!

  3. Happy Holidays Captains! As we are rapidly approaching the end of this year, and are well within the holiday season, we at vUSCI would like to take a few moments out of our days to send you a special holiday greeting. This year has flown by and it has been amazing. During this holiday season, we hope you take time to enjoy the company of family and friends and get some well-deserved rest and relaxation. (Don’t forget all the good food!) As we all finish out this year, we hope you have a happy, healthy, and safe holiday! As a special thank you, and a little holiday surprise, you will find a “Holiday Package” located in our downloads section on the Crew Communications System (CCS). Inside you will find a custom splash screen for Prepar3D, a loading screen for X-Plane (instructions included for both), our Holiday Card, and last (but definitely not least) a 20% off voucher for the REX store! Have a wonderful holiday season, Virtual United Social Club, Inc.

Charm City Fly-In Featuring: KBWI Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport September 29, 2018 I 19-23E [23-03z, 16-20P] Enjoy the view of the Chesapeake Bay at America's Charm City as vZDC Virtual Washington ARTCC hosts Charm City Fly-In featuring Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (KBWI) this Septmber 29th. KBWI serves the greater Baltimore area as well as serves as an important alternative destination for the Washington DC Metropolitan area where it distinguishes itself as the busiest airport serving this area by passenger count. Due to its role KBWI serves airports across the country from all of the major US Domestic Passenger and Cargo airlines, as well as serves as the second busiest hub for Southwest Airlines. We hope this provides plenty of choices for flights to enjoy as you depart/arrive from the city by the bay. We look forward to seeing you there. « Last Edit: August 15, 2018, 07:55:12 pm by Brad King » Brad King vZDC Virtual Washington ARTCC Events Coordinator

In the Regional Circuit, controllers fully staff two regional airports, providing complete 'gate-to-gate' coverage over this special four-hour event. The focus airports are typically 80-200nm apart, and a high volume of pilots operating in this compressed airspace means the Regional Circuit provides optimal conditions for congested frequencies and busy airways. For more information and event downloads, visit the Regional Circuit page. Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen, its time again to start your engines for another TRIPPLE ARTCC FNO event. That’s right, we are joining forces once again to show VATSIM what the west coast is made of. ZLC, ZSE, and ZOA together invite you for a night of full staffing (top to bottom) and with options galore when it comes to destinations. We have chosen to fully staff some of the biggest (and busiest) airports in our respective regions. Chose between SLC, SFO, and SEA. We suggest flying between these fields, although we welcome all levels of traffic from all directions and if you decide to fly VFR come and test our controllers. Our last event with ZLA was excellent and allowed us to refine our procedures, and we are building on that to try and make everything run even smoother. Date 14th September Time 5PM-9PM PDT 2359-0400z Featured Airports KSLC - Salt Lake City Airport KSEA - Seattle Tacoma Airport KSFO - San Francisco Airport Milan Cruz ZLC C1 Events Coordinator | Mentor
